WHO WE ARE
Whispering Pines is a 16-bed care facility in the rural town of Downey (located about 40 miles outside of Pocatello). We focus on providing the highest quality of care in a home-like atmosphere for our residents.
THE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE
As an administrator, you'll be responsible for meeting the resident's needs and implementing their care plans. You'll interact with residents, families, and staff members professionally at all times, and you'll be in charge of critical supervisory functions such as hiring staff, scheduling, and staff training. It will be your responsibility to ensure the facility is secure, clean, and presentable at all times, and that we are in full compliance with all state standards. You'll also help us maintain a strong census through marketing efforts.
Since we're a small facility, you will not have a regular full-time workload, but you will be expected to be on call at any time for issues that may need your attention. At times, you may be required to provide hands-on care to residents and to step in if there are staffing deficiencies.
