EMS-GRIVORY | Remote – Western United States, excluding California
Help OEMs rethink metal. Build new opportunities in high-performance plastics.
EMS-GRIVORY is seeking a seasoned plastics industry sales professional to develop industrial OEM business and drive metal replacement opportunities using high-performance engineering polymers.
This role is ideal for someone who understands technical selling, builds strong relationships with design engineers, and knows how to get materials specified into new applications. You'll identify opportunities, influence material selection, and guide projects from early concept through commercialization.
The Opportunity
Your focus will be general industrial customers, helping OEMs explore where engineering polymers can replace metal, reduce weight, simplify manufacturing, and improve product performance.
You'll combine new business development with strategic account management, working closely with OEMs, product designers, engineers, molders, and manufacturing partners to turn technical opportunities into long-term business.
What You'll Do
Identify and develop new industrial OEM accounts, with a focus on metal replacement and material conversion.
Lead OEM “spec-in” work, engaging engineering and design teams early to influence material selection.
Manage technical sales projects from application discovery and material evaluation through specification, validation, and commercialization.
Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, and business decision-makers.
Partner with molders, manufacturing partners, and internal technical teams to advance customer projects.
Grow strategic accounts while maintaining an active pipeline of new opportunities.
Manage sales forecasting, CRM activity, and account development plans.
Collaborate with EMS-GRIVORY colleagues across North America, Europe, and Asia.
What You Bring
5+ years of B2B sales, key account management, or business development experience in engineering plastics, polymers, or resins.
An established understanding of the plastics industry and a track record of winning new OEM business.
Experience influencing material specifications and managing complex, project-based sales cycles.
The ability to discuss application requirements with engineers and communicate commercial value to purchasing and leadership teams.
Experience with metal replacement, engineering thermoplastics, polyamides, or injection molding is strongly preferred.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
