Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms; exposure to electrical office and laboratory equipment; exposure to extreme cold below 32°F while working in plasma freezer. Personal protective equipment required: eye protection, garments, gloves, and cold gear. Work performed sitting or standing entire shift, bending, twisting neck and waist 1-2 h/day. Frequent hand movements: make fast, simple movements of fingers, hands, and wrists. Precise coordinated finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects. Frequent foot movement: may infrequently squat, crouch, or sit on heels. Light lifting of 15 lb, maximum lift 50 lb. May reach below shoulder height. Hearing acuity essential. Color perception and vision requirement. Must comprehend and follow instructions to complete assigned tasks and perform within guidance of oral or written instructions.
