Forklift Operator Job

Compensation: $13.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time, year round

Duties:

• Handling raw materials, i.e. potatoes in 50 pound boxes, 1000-pound totes, etc.
• Overseeing equipment, you operate to make sure it is safe
• Complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other safety considerations.
• Optimizing space by using organizational skills
• Utilizing specialized forklift attachments, such as drum handlers, clamps and rotators.

Requirements:

• Ability to operate relevant machinery.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Observational and safety skills to recognize hazards or safety risks and respond accordingly.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
