Information System & Data Management Director

The U.S. Government Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) is the primary vehicle through which the US government will procure and provide health commodities, provide system support to improve partner countries' management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives.

The Information System & Data Management Director will work in close collaboration with GHSC-PSM leadership and Chemonics IT leadership to assess the strategic and practical needs for project data, information, and file retention and devise appropriate mechanisms to ensure that all critical GHSC-PSM project data and information is properly categorized, protected, and retained within the limitations of the company-wide information systems infrastructure. This position will report to the Principal, Country Programs, and serve as a data management resource to GHSC-PSM leadership, technical units, and project support teams (PSTs) to develop capacity and provide targeted guidance on managing and maintaining project records. This position requires working knowledge of IT systems and information architecture, advanced donor-funded records management and project management skills, working knowledge of the GHSC-PSM project scope and scale, and experience with knowledge management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Assessment of Project Information Architecture
  • Lead Archiving and Knowledge Retention Efforts
  • Prepare Guidance Documents and Training for Staff
  • Serve as Advisor to the GHSC-PSM Management Team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of project management, risk management, compliance or relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets related to knowledge management and/or records management.
  • Familiarity with electronic records storage platforms and how file architecture (structured vs. unstructured) affects searchability.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 SharePoint required.
  • Prior experience in leading or participating in closeout proceedings and audit preparedness initiatives preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics and operations of the GHSC-PSM project preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, and lead presentations and effective meetings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility and integrity
  • Demonstrates knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and tools, with the ability to apply them appropriately and responsibly to support efficiency, decision-making, and problem solving in a dynamic business environment.

Compensation Range:

$100,400.00 - $125,600.00

An employee's pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.

Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
