Applications Services Manager

Location: Houston, TX (but open to a candidate who sits remote in the US supporting CST timezone)

Contract: 6 months, potential to extend

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall execution of ADM Managed Services strategy
• Manage overall transition, manage issues, escalations and provide decision support
• Oversee and set strategic direction on key supplier relationships and participate in maintenance of these relationships
• Drive Supplier Relationship Management framework implementation, working closely with Procurement and Platform teams to ensure that all elements of contracts are met by suppliers in the spirit of a long-term partnerships
• Work with Platform teams to facilitate changes in application portfolio awarded to partners (application list and service levels)
• Actively work with Procurement and Platform teams on strategic sourcing and ensuring compliance with Managed Services strategy
• Provide subject matter expertise in Application Run / Maintain, IT service management, supplier transitions, and supplier relationship management

Skills, Education, and Experience Requirements:

• Experience in Contract Management, SLA & Performance Management, Supplier Risk Management, Large Scale Transition & Transformation
• 10 -15 years of progressive mgmt. experience including IT / Operations strategic sourcing
• Previous experience managing applications within an Enterprise environment/company
• Previous experience in technology-oriented and services industry
• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS or equivalent business management field required. 10+ years experience required.
• Previous Chevron or oil/gas experience would be a plus
• The selected candidate will need to sit in the US and be able to support Central Time Zone

Required Skills: This is not a true Project Manager or Business Manager role, more of an Operational manager position. The individual will be running the effort and overseeing the management of application in the services management deal. Needs someone with an operational support background, understand what service level agreements are, return to service, what end users expect for timelines, etc. Middleman between end users and suppliers.
