Missions

At the heart of public sports policies, you participate in the development and promotion of sports activities in the region. As a true conductor of the service, you manage municipal sports facilities, support sports associations, and contribute to the organization of events that shape local life.

Piloting and coordinating sports facilities

• Plan, organize, and control the use of municipal sports facilities;
• Ensure optimal conditions of reception and safety for users;
• Monitor the maintenance of sports installations and equipment;
• Ensure compliance with regulations applicable to sports facilities and organize mandatory inspections;
• Prepare the necessary elements for the invoicing of equipment usage in liaison with the finance service.

Participating in the implementation of the sports policy

• Ensure administrative and technical follow-up of sports projects (new equipment, grant applications, etc.);
• Advise elected officials on the orientations and sports projects of the community;
• Prepare and follow the work of the Sports Commission;
• Participate in the development and implementation of local sports policies.

Coordinating sports events

• Organize sports events promoted by the community in liaison with the relevant services (events, technical services, communication);
• Support sports associations in organizing their events and their procedures with municipal services.

Developing the Sport S'Handifférence project

• Supervise and plan the activity of the APA sports educator working with young people with disabilities;
• Participate in the development of the Sport S'Handifférence project;
• Prepare and follow the work of the intercommunal sports commission dedicated to the project.

Education

• Diploma of level III in the sports field and/or in the management of sports facilities.

Working conditions

• Full-time;
• High availability required (meetings and events occasionally in the evening and on weekends);
• Mutualized position City / Community of Communes;
• Driving license B desired.

Additional information: If your application is selected and subject to calendar changes, interviews are scheduled as follows: Date of jury session: Wednesday, August 26, 2026 (afternoon) Benefits: Statutory remuneration; Indemnity scheme; CNAS; Participation in salary maintenance (15€, 20€, or 25€ according to your index); Participation of 15€ gross for the subscription to a labeled health insurance contract; Lunch vouchers (5€ per working day: 2€ agent contribution and 3€ from the community); RTT according to working hours.

Legal Basis

Art. L332-8 disposition 2 of the general code of the public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has been successful. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
