Addeco is hiring for Material Handler - Production & Inventory Support
Overview
The Material Handler plays a key role in ensuring smooth production operations by accurately receiving, storing, staging, and delivering materials. This position supports manufacturing teams by maintaining precise inventory records, organizing material flow, and ensuring that all components are available when needed to meet production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Production Support
- Deliver raw materials, components, and supplies to production lines according to daily schedules and work orders.
- Stage materials in designated areas to support efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
- Assist production teams with material replenishment, returns, and line clearance activities.
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Perform cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory audits to maintain accurate system records.
- Record material movements in ERP or inventory management systems with high attention to detail.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues promptly.
- Support root-cause investigations for inventory variances and help implement corrective actions.
Receiving, Storage & Distribution
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect materials for quality and accuracy.
- Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations following FIFO/FEFO or other inventory methods.
- Prepare materials for internal transfers, production orders, or outbound shipments.
Equipment & Safety
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production staging area.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or production support.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
- Ability to lift and move materials safely (weight requirements may vary).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
