Policy Service Associate

In addition to all duties of a Policy Service Associate, may be expected to maintain a book of business based on location. Market and service accounts (new and existing) in a way that fosters new business development and existing client perpetuation. Process client requests for service; gather necessary information for submission; verify and maintain account files. Must be able to handle an account and sell policies from beginning to end as well as maintain compliance responses for accounts sold. Might also be required to help train employees at management's request.

  • All duties of policy service associate
  • Assist sales representatives and/or initiate sales calls
  • Manage client accounts
  • Market existing and new accounts; negotiation with company underwriters; present best options
  • Maintain all records
  • Review monthly renewals in advance
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to interact & communicate positively with co-workers
  • Any other duties as appropriate and assigned by management
Licensing Or Certification Requirements
  • MUST hold current Property and Casualty License in resident state; includes maintaining by meeting all continuation education and other requirements
  • Must be working towards CISR designation
Work & Education Experience Requirements:
  • 2-4 years' insurance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalency; some college preferred
