PMC has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, an adult intensive care unit, nationally recognized orthopedic services, a full suite of cardiac care, Center of Excellence recognized surgeons, imaging, primary and specialty care.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring that all reusable supplies, such as instruments, equipment, linen, and surgical supplies, are properly decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, and distributed.Cleaning and disinfecting the Operating Room or procedural area between patients throughout the day.Reprocessing instruments in the Operating Room environment utilizing immediate use steam sterilization or per-aceticacid and maintaining the standards of reprocessing at the level utilized in the Central Processing Department, when possible.Act as a resource for the Operating Room staff and all other departments within the hospital.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Certification by HSPA required within 18 months of hire.Preferred Job RequirementsPrevious hospital experience.Knowledge of medical terminology.#J-18808-Ljbffr
