Job Description
Pediatric & Structural Heart Echo Technician

Location

Located at a facility in the United States offering services to pediatric and adult patients.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday to Friday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM. On-call requirements as needed.

Job Description

The Echo Technician will be responsible for performing various echocardiographic exams on both pediatric and adult patients. They will work in a dynamic setting that includes daily outpatient and inpatient echocardiograms, along with covering specific procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic exams, including 3D Echo, Bubble Studies, Pharmacologic Stress Echos, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), and Treadmill Stress Echos.
• Assist physicians with procedures and collect pertinent data.
• Maintain a smooth workflow and ensure efficient operations within the Echo Tech Department.
• Document and maintain detailed records of procedures performed.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism at all times.
• Provide support in a busy and sometimes stressful environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field is preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, RCS, and RDMS-Peds.
• Pediatric experience and Structural Heart training are required.
