Role Overview

My client is seeking an experienced Crypto Trader to join their high-frequency trading (HFT) and market making team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HFT market making or algorithmic strategy development within digital assets or traditional markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage high-frequency and algorithmic trading strategies for digital assets.
  
  
• Optimize existing market making strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
  
  
• Monitor and analyze the performance of live trading programs, adjusting parameters in real time as needed.
  
  
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, software engineers, and other traders to identify new trading opportunities and improve execution.
  
  
• Conduct back-testing, simulation, and performance analysis of trading algorithms.
  
  
• Maintain strong relationships with exchanges and counterparties, ensuring efficient market access and trade execution.
  
  
• Stay informed about market structure changes, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in digital assets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in HFT market making or algorithmic trading strategy development, ideally within the cryptocurrency or digital asset space.
  
  
• Deep understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and electronic trading.
  
  
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages for strategy implementation and data analysis.
  
  
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills; familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining is a plus.
  
  
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Physics).
  
  
• Experience working with major crypto exchanges and APIs.
  
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global environment.
  
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-latency systems and infrastructure.
  
  
• Prior exposure to DeFi protocols or on-chain trading solutions.
  
  
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks for digital assets.
