Store Custodian / Handyman

The Store Custodian / Handyman maintains a clean, safe, and well-functioning working environment for staff and customers. In addition to janitorial responsibilities, this role supports store operations by performing basic handyman and maintenance tasks, including building and assembling display items, completing minor repairs, and addressing facility needs throughout the store. The position ensures all interior and exterior areas are kept in excellent condition to support daily operations and provide a positive experience for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, break room, sales floor, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling and maintain exterior walkways
• Perform basic handyman tasks, including assembling displays and making minor repairs
• Assist with store projects, resets, and seasonal setups
• Monitor cleaning and maintenance supplies and notify management when low

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and carry for extended periods
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Flexible availability based on business needs

Schedule

• Part-time or full-time; flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
