SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Caller/Floor Supervisor, a Bingo Caller is highly visible, and this position has a high amount of customer service where speed and knowledge of Bingo is essential. Bingo Callers are responsible for creating an environment of fun and excitement on the floor for the patrons who participate in Bingo.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Greet customers in a friendly matter, be courteous, and inform customers on Bingo games, Bingo packet buy-ins, restroom locations, restaurant, Players Club, and emergency exits.
• Assist new customers with upcoming Bingo games, schedules, information sheets and other flyers.
• Assist customers in the proper process of playing, making sure customers are playing the right color Bingo sheets, electronic Bingo device corresponding with games being played.
• Keeps customers informed of upcoming events and changes in the Bingo program.
• Required to communicate the hall rules and game instructions, the name of each game, prize amount, and the color of sheet being played on to the customers in the bingo hall.
• Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Bingo operations at all times and in all activities. Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
• Listen for Bingo calls and expediting the verification of bingo winners and prepare the customer for the next game.
• Develop, maintain, and facilitate effective relationships, communications processes and activities with all Gaming personnel and all other internal and external customers.
• Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results as required.
• Maintain strict department security, confidentiality, and quality to meet professional standards of the department.
• Assist in nightly cleanup of the Bingo hall after daily sessions.
• Calls numbers as Bingo balls are drawn, places each ball in the ball return chute of the Bingo machine.
• Log down all numbers called with the callers beginning and ending time of the games and also initial all games called.
• Responsible for ensuring Bingo balls utilized for the daily session are present and accounted for and verified by compliance, at random times and dates.
• Callers are to wash the Bingo numbers before each session or when changing number during the session or break.
• Ensures all numbers of all games are recorded in the sequence called.
• Make sure that all the Bingo numbers have been dropped from the previous game and at the end of each session verifies that all the Bingo balls are accounted for.
• Must comply with departments MICS and SOP's.
• Attend all trainings as directed by Supervisor and /or Bingo Director.
• Communication with other bingo sub-departments, making sure that all prize amounts and winning players are correct.
• Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.
• Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma, GED, Degree and Certificates) to support qualifications.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to the licensing rules and regulations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain in good standing a Driver's License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage on company vehicles.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED; required with one (1) to three (3) month's Gaming experience/training preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational skills required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.
