Job Description Job Description Located in Pocatello, ID Salary: 19.00 Job Title: Warehouse Assistant - Food Production Plant Location: American Falls Pay Rate: $19.00/h Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations at our food production facility. This role is essential to maintaining efficient inventory flow, safe food handling practices, and timely production support. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and ingredients Pick, stage, and distribute materials to production lines Assist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished goods Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant Assist with shipping and receiving as needed Qualifications: Previous warehouse or food production experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and reliability Basic computer or inventory system skills a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment Must follow strict food safety and hygiene standards Requirements: Must be reliable and punctual Must pass a background check and/or drug screening Food safety training is a plus (or willingness to obtain) Must live in or reliably commute to American Falls, ID 1449Poky Express Office: Pocatello 850 North 5th Avenue Pocatello, ID 83201
