OVERVIEW:

The Customer Service Representative is key in delivering outstanding customer experiences by creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping environment. This role requires a proactive approach, extensive product knowledge, and a commitment to high standards and efficiency for Front-End operations.

  • Greet every individual, including teammates and customers, with enthusiasm and approach customers to understand their needs and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Act as the primary customer service provider at the front end, linking customers with management as needed.
  • Provide register assistance and maintain strong customer service standards by supporting cashiers with complex transactions.
  • Assist management in scheduling, workflow direction, daily team assignments, and ensuring department presentation standards are upheld; monitor Front End associates to meet performance expectations.
  • Adhere to merchandising and presentation standards by following established guidelines for floor sets, signage, pricing changes, and inventory management.
  • Promote and facilitate training for both new and current teammates on company programs, including loyalty programs and warranty sales.
  • Follow all safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, while maintaining confidentiality of all company information.
  • Create an inclusive environment where everyone, including teammates and customers, feels welcome and respected.
  • Embrace a supportive team approach, assisting across the store as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service.
  • Capable of standing, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing between 15 to 35 lbs. on occasion.
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
  • Comfortable performing repetitive motions for short intervals (up to 2 hours continuously).
