Job Details

Provides care to patients suffering cardiopulmonary, neurological, or other metabolic disturbances, which require quality Electrocardiographs (EK - Gs), Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, or Cardiac Stress Tests. Communicates with physicians concerning procedures, instructs patients, takes phone orders, manages files, schedules procedures, and performs other cardiopulmonary care services, as directed. Assists the medical provider in the delivery of patient care and patient teaching according to clinic policies and protocols. Performs EK - Gs and is able to interpret EK - Gs, rhythm strips, and recognize specific abnormal heart rhythms. Provids device interrogation, recognizing abnormal rhythm and reporting. Contributes to the assessment of patient's health status by collecting, recording, and reporting objective and subjective data. Timely, consistently, and accurately documents all patient interactions. Answers phones and responds to messages in a timely manner.
