This position serves an important role as part of the ISU College of Arts and Letters. The Marketing and Communications Director for the College of Arts and Letters reports directly to the Dean and works with college leadership to help set the marketing and communications vision. The position is responsible for the implementation of all marketing and communications efforts for the College and its departments, programs, and initiatives. This includes internal and external marketing and communications work focused on promotion, recruiting, outreach, and development. Major responsibilities include oversight and production of written press releases, a monthly newsletter, and content for various social media channels. The individual in this position coordinates with and/or supervises other college staff and student workers involved in marketing and communications efforts- and collaborates with the ISU Marketing and Communications team to ensure consistency with the university's standards and vision.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.

Salary will be between $58,000 and $65,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
