Business Development Manager - Veterinary Industry (REMOTE, part-time).

This role is high-visibility and relationship-driven, representing the brand at industry events and conferences with remote flexibility (Utah preferred) 20 hours per week with travel for key events. Responsibilities
  • Represent the brand at major conferences and industry events.
  • Build meaningful relationships with practice owners, peers, and partners.
  • Serve on panels and host networking events, breakfasts, or meetups.
  • Create strong rapport and credibility through high-touch engagement.
  • Actively identify and cultivate business opportunities from event networking.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor who reinforces the organizations reputation.
  • Ensure warm leads are consistently transitioned into the sales pipeline.
  • Track and report on event ROI, including conversion from conversations to opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions and high close rates.
  • Develop and execute side events (breakfasts, panels, meetups) that increase brand visibility.
  • Handle logistics, communications, and follow-up for maximum impact.
  • Be recognized as the face of the brand in the field.
  • Represent the organization with authority and confidence.
  • Maintain a professional presence that aligns with our reputation and standards.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in high-touch sales, business development, or event-based networking.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable hosting panels and discussions.
  • Experience planning and executing side events that drive engagement.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking conversations and opportunities.
  • History of converting networking into tangible sales outcomes.
  • Comfort with travel and independent execution of event strategies.
  • Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
  • Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
