What youll do

• Set the strategic direction for the sales team in addition to leading the team in closing pipeline opportunities.

• Participate in key customer strategy and negotiations that will yield top line growth.

• Responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with key internal partners along with building and developing senior level client contacts.

What were looking for

• Minimum 5 years year-over-year success in sales plus a minimum 3+ years year-over-year success in a sales or related management role.

• Leading a geographically dispersed sales team, developing people and getting results

• Proven track record in sales negotiations and closing skills

• Understanding of new strategic approach to business travel

• Ability to complete and get results and to act and lead as a change agent

• Experience with sales planning and execution

• Thorough knowledge of consultative selling techniques within complex product lines and services

• Strong financial skill and growth mindset

• Ability to work and contribute in a team approach

• Requires exceptional thought leadership and critical thinking skills

• Must have experience interfacing at senior levels of prospect/client companies

• Must be exceptional in presentation and negotiation skills

• Ability to travel up to 40%

Candidates based within a commutable range of our Chicago office will have in-office expectations.

Compensation and benefits

The US national base salary range for this position is from $110,600.00 - $205,400.00. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidates relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for either a sales incentive plan based on specific sales roles, or a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance and is also eligible for awards under our Equity Incentive Plan.
