As the Sr. Director of Actuarial Services on the UHG Trend Analytics team supporting Optum Health, you will lead in delivering strategic analytics that shape how we understand, manage, and predict health care expenses across a diverse set of businesses, including Optum at Home (DSNP, ISNP, CSNP). You will lead a high-performing team responsible for producing mission-critical reports such as the Health Care Trend Analytics (HCTA) report and Medical Expense Reporting for executive stakeholders.
Youu2019ll have autonomy and support to build analytics; your expertise will be counted on to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, actionable, and communicated with clarity to all audiences. In this leadership role, youu2019ll foster an environment of continuous improvement while helping position Optum Health as an industry leader in medical cost management.
You may work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. For hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution. The salary range for this role is $156,400 to $268,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
