A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, abstract, and report data from trauma patient medical records
• Participate in trauma registry courses and maintain necessary certifications
• Ensure accurate data entry and management in trauma database systems

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Health Information Management or related program or applicable experience
• Licensure/certification such as CAISS, CSTR, or RHIT required within two years of hire
• Previous trauma registry experience preferred; computer data entry experience required
• Knowledge of trauma database systems and computer system interfaces preferred
• Ability to perform detailed and organized work
