Our Commercial Lines Actuarial department is seeking an Actuarial Director for Workers Compensation to join our growing team in our Worcester, MA office or remote work location.
SUMMARY:
This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of pricing actuaries focused on the Workers Compensation line of business, reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President Actuary of Commercial Auto and Workers Compensation. The Workers Compensation book has nearly $400 million in annual earned premium and is one of the fastest-growing core lines, requiring a strategic, analytical, and business-oriented actuarial approach.
The Actuarial Director of Workers Compensation provides overall management and technical oversight to a team of analysts with varying degrees of experience, while also contributing hands-on to high-impact projects. The Director partners closely with other actuaries and business leaders across State Management, Underwriting, and Claims to support profitable growth and pricing sophistication.
