Job Title: Product Owner (Retail Media)
Role Type: W2 only
Duration: W2 contract through January with extension.
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Schedule: 100% remote but quarterly PI planning travel (2 days) is required.
TOP SKILLS:
8+ years of experience as a digital product owner or digital product manager in retail/ecommerce
2+ years in Retail Media
Strong understanding of Reporting and Measurements experience within Ecommerce Retail
Tools: Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Owner, Business Intelligence leads a cross-functional agile development team to bring to life new features and capabilities. This role will dotted line report to the Sr. Manager, who will lead product strategy, the roadmap prioritization, and the vision for Business Intelligence and self-serve capabilities.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Delivery: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to inform future iterations. Analyze key metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, users, strategic analytics, agency, and vendor patterns to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of Brand Partner needs and market opportunities.
Prioritization: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog. Break down complex user stories into actionable tasks for the development team. Ensure the backlog is clear, concise, and prioritized based on business value.
Release Management: Coordinate with engineering, scrum master, quality assurance, and deployment teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, roadmap changes, upcoming releases, and leading and lagging key performance indicators.
Performance Analysis: Define and track leading and lagging KPIs to measure the success of ad products and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with sales, account management, marketing, advertising operations, measurement, audience strategy, ecommerce, UX design, and other teams to drive product development and success.
Continuous Improvement: Facilitate retrospectives and feedback sessions to continuously improve on team processes, product quality, delivery efficiency, and adoption.
