The duties and responsibilities will be to assist the Principal and Assistant Principal at Franklin Middle School, the principal function of the job at all schools is similar; to perform a variety of administrative, secretarial, financial and clerical duties as the secretary for a school. The Principal's Secretary serves as the staff liaison for the Principal. Duties include reporting school payroll, balancing budgets, managing the substitute system, organizing meetings, and preparing correspondence, reports and other documents. They also include bookkeeping, attendance and purchasing functions. The Principal's Secretary maintains smooth office operations in the absence of the Principal.
