Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our high-tech machinery and equipment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines, contributing to our commitment to deliver superior quality products to our clients. Responsibilities
1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively using advanced diagnostic tools.
3. Repair or replace defective machinery parts, including motors, PLCs, conveyors, and other electromechanical systems.
4. Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records using CMMS software.
5. Interpret and work from complex technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
6. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop maintenance strategies and procedures.
7. Train other team members on machine operation and basic maintenance to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
8. Participate in the design and installation of new machinery and equipment.
9. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the engineering industry or a related field.
2. Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting, electromechanical systems, PLC, VFD, and mechanical and machine maintenance.
3. Proficient in using CMMS software and understanding technical schematics and blueprints.
4. In-depth knowledge of pneumatic systems and conveyor systems maintenance.
5. Experience with automation systems is highly desirable.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
10. Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
11. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
