Come create your career with Volt. Volt is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a local logistics company in Reno, NV. As a Warehouse Associate, you will: Handle customer packages in preparation for shipment and distribution. Load and unload freight into and out of trailers, and weigh packages. Fill out manual data sheets, including PROs, weights, and dimensions of each pallet. Add PRO numbers to freight. Perform data entry into our ERP system. Daily Functions: Receiving, weighing, measuring, scanning, labeling, and shipping packages. Adhering to all Safety and Security regulations. Loading and unloading packages from processing stations/trailers. Affixing labels to packages. Scanning boxes from the inbound staging area. Preparing Bill of Ladings. Data entry of shipment details. Cross-training in other warehouse positions as needed. Completing Health & Safety compliance training as required. Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Manager. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be computer literate and able to process shipments into the enterprise system. Data entry and problem-solving skills. Flexibility for occasional additional hours during peak season. Ability to work in varying temperature conditions. Physical, fast-paced position involving continual lifting, lowering, and sliding packages (typically 25-35 lbs., up to 70 lbs.). This is a Part-Time, temp-to-hire opportunity. Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, 30 hours per week. . Pay Rate: $21/hr.
