However, position will be open until filled.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: EIGHT HOURS PER DAYDAYS: TWELVE MONTH POSITIONSALARY SCHEDULE: $13.71 per hourSTART DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLEJOB SUMMARY: The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform routine custodial general maintenance,cleaning, and grounds keeping tasks in school buildings and grounds to maintain a clean sanitary, andsafe enviornment. Additionally an employee in this class may be assigned to other minor maintenanceduties in district facilities. This position is supervised by the Custodial Foreman. The prinicpal duties ofthis class are performed in public school environment and include use of electrically powered cleaningequipment and cleaning substances that may involve related hazards and outdoor work in inclementweather conditions. Work requires physical exertion and heavy lifting (e.g. classroom and office furnitureetc.)JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred.
