Description:

Element has an opportunity for a **Department Supervisor**. In this role you will be a member of the operational leadership team and perform a variety of leadership responsibilities within the department to insure timely and accurate test results are delivered.

** Responsibilities**

* Oversees department operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), scheduling and personnel.

* Sets day-to-day operational objectives for team.

* Monitors department performance to maximize productivity. Assists in production innovation to enhance production capabilities.

* Driving continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and spending

* Track and drive to target KPI's and Metrics

** Skills / Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution, or three (3) years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing/Lab environment

* Experience leading cross functional teams

* Self-directed and detail oriented

* Ability to create, lead and work in a team atmosphere

* Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing is a plus
