Job Description

Purpose of Position:

Under general supervision is responsible for assuring adequate PAR levels of supplies, maintaining stock and inventory.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the supervision of staff within Central Distribution.
- Responsible for Inventory Control of all supplies; maintains perpetual inventory; works in conjunction with the Director of Materials and Central Distribution for smooth operation.
- Monitors the Performance Improvement activities of the Department and measures performance improvement.
- Identifies problems that result in inaccurate inventory balances, such as missing issues or purchase orders, or incorrect item numbers or PAR level books.
- Identifies stock problems that lead to insufficient space, or obsolete or incorrect counts on inventory problems.
- Continually follow-ups with Central Distribution items to improve inventory control methods.
- Prepares PAR level books/logs for inpatient supply distribution.
- Coordinating of staff on various functions of inventory management and distribution of supplies; monitor the timekeeping and scheduling of the Central Distribution staff.
- Coordinates the collection of reports and other documents.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Business,
Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline; or
2. High school diploma or its educational equivalent; and
3. Two (2) years of full-time satisfactory experience in supply chain management, stock control and
inventory, materials support or related area.
